Home data stays with the home.
Everything in your home's profile, from appliances and maintenance history to warranties and service records, is part of the property. When you sell, it transfers with the home to the next owner, the same way the appliances themselves do. A well-documented home is worth more at closing, and the documentation goes with it.
Anything personal to you stays with you. The home's data follows the home; your personal records, preferences, and account information follow you. We don't sell your data to third parties, and you can export or delete what's yours anytime.

Do I have to enter everything manually?+
No. We start from your address and pull in property records automatically. From there you confirm what's right and snap photos for anything we couldn't infer.
What if I don't know the model of my water heater?+
Snap a photo of the label. Home Folio reads the model and serial, then files it under the right appliance with its warranty and maintenance schedule.
Can my spouse or family member access it too?+
Yes. You can invite household members to view and update your home graph together.
What happens if I move?+
Your home graph is yours. You can transfer it to the next owner at closing, or start fresh at your next home and keep your personal records.
Is there a way to import existing records?+
Yes. You can upload PDFs, photos, and receipts, and Home Folio will file them against the right appliance, room, or warranty automatically.
